Message from the Founder of GloboTrends:
Hi, my name is Brian Butler, and I started "GloboTrends" while studying for my Masters degree (MBA) at Thunderbird School of Global Management. My idea was to build a site dedicated to global business and to collect my notes, observations and ideas as I completed my degree. In the end, most of what I learned ended up in my own personal "wiki" as a way for me to build upon my knowledge, and to keep my "notes" online for future reference. I use this wiki as my own personal reference guide to look back at what I learned during my MBA (and since). I visit this site whenever I need to remember what I learned, and to find my lessons in my own simplified language.
For anyone taking time out from their working-life, and considering going back to school: I highly recommend that you open an account with PBWorks, and startup your own wiki of personal lessons. For those of you that find that idea too complicated, technical or lonely... I welcome you to add your lessons to mine, and to keep your knowledge here in GloboTrends for future reference. (note: if your not into "global business", but still want to join-in, I welcome you to visit KookyPlan, a parallel to this one with an "entrepreneurial" focus).
I hope that my observations, and my "GloboTrends" project may continue to grow and be of some utility to others in the field of Global Business and analysis.
