JAKARTA, Indonesia -- The Indonesian economy expanded last year at its fastest pace in a decade on rising investment and growth in commodity exports, the Central Statistics Agency reported.

Economists generally expect momentum to be sustained this year, but they said that even faster growth will be needed to address the problems of widespread unemployment and poverty.
