Luxembourg
With a total land area of 999 square miles and some 425,000 inhabitants, the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg ranks as one of the world’s smallest countries. Yet the country holds international status and has the highest per capita income in Europe. Well-developed road and rail networks and the Luxembourg International Airport link the country with economic and political centers throughout the world. In addition, the Moselle river gives direct access to the Rhine and the North Sea.
Investors are attracted to the national industrial parks in the Grand Duchy. Each park offers a first-class infrastructure and telecommunications network and all of the country’s major business parks can be reached within a short travel distance from the capital.
Investors who have moved to Luxembourg include Goodyear, Dupont, TDK Recording, Media Europe, Sommer-Allibert Group, Villeroy & Boch and Delphi Automotive Systems.
