free markets challenges state control

examples:  Milton Freidman in Chile

examples:  China has allowed private Airlines to grow, and there has been over 20 introduced from 2005-2008, but in resonse, there has been a shortage of available pilots, as these new companies compete for and pay more for pilots.  The trouble for Chinese government is that they have a very strict control over the pilots of the government owned airlines, mandating a very low pay, and a lifetime contract.  With the development of the free market system, these two systems have come into conflict and has challenged the Socialist system of government.
